Come In and Explore My Digital Recipe Box!

When I was a girl, my mom always had a little wooden recipe box up in the corner cabinet of our kitchen. It was full of just a few of our family’s favorite weeknight recipes and holiday treats. I don’t know what it was, but there was something special in the moments when she would open that box and pull out a recipe card (probably because I knew something yummy was coming my way).

I don’t know where that old recipe box is stored these days, but I know it’s still pulled out every Christmas when it’s time to bake sugar cookies, or every New Year’s Eve when bacon-wrapped little smokies are on the menu.

Those feelings of comfort, excitement, and a little hint of nostalgia are all the same ones that I want you all to feel when you spend time browsing through my recipes here. My main hope for this blog is that someday, my future children will be looking for something to eat that makes them feel at home and will remember this index of my recipes. I hope they reach for it in the same way that I have always loved reaching for my mom’s recipe box.

These recipes are my heart and life’s work. I hope you find at least one that starts to feel a little like home to you.
